'What a lovely old building - will be eating there again very soon', exclaimed a couple of UK Restaurant Guide users about Simon and Geraldine Theobald's long-serving Suffolk restaurant. For more than 25 years, they have been serving skilfully crafted food in their atmospheric sixteenth-century, timber-framed property, and show no signs of slowing up.

The delightful interior comes complete with oak beams and real fires blazing away in the huge inglenooks, while summertime visitors have the bonus of a lovely garden patio for alfresco meals.
