Dating back to 1531, and reputedly named after the three English queens - Elizabeth, Mary and Anne - this town-centre hotel is proud of its history, but has moved with the times and now offers guests all manner of twenty-first century comforts and facilities from Broadband access and satellite TV to car-washing for mid-week visitors.

Hardwood panelling, tapestries and screens set a clubby mood in the intimate Grill Room, where customers can enjoy anything from char-grilled steaks with all the trimmings to more elaborate modern European cuisine.
