Situated on the fringes of the New Forest National Park, some three miles from Christchurch, the Three Tuns is instantly recognisable with its immaculate thatched roof and hanging baskets. In summer it attracts the crowds because of its vast south-facing garden and terrace complete with a water feature; the pub is also renowned for its barbecues – weather permitting.
In the reassuringly comfortable and traditionally appointed bar you can enjoy 'light bites' and a menu of old favourites like fish cakes, pan-fried lamb's liver, burgers, pasta and salads, while the main restaurant aims higher.
