In a delightful little village just a stroll away from the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Three Tuns, Great Bedwyn, was erected in the mid-eighteenth century from the remnants of a local bakery and the morgue next door. Today it's a totally honest and rather eccentric pub that is doing great things.
The whole place is rather like an old curiosity shop, with a Parisian mannequin seated in one corner of the dining room, jokey quotes and newspaper cuttings pinned up on chalkboards, old farming implements, teapots and showbiz photos everywhere.
