'The best in the east,' exclaimed one enthusiastic UK Restaurant Guide user about Tiffin - a stylish addition to the restaurant scene around Shadwell and Whitechapel. Inside it has been modishly fitted out, with marble tables and granite floors adding a touch of contemporary chic to proceedings.

North Indian tandooris figure strongly on the menu, along with salmon samosas, quails in spicy garam masala sauce and old favourites such as keema peas.
