It may look more like a small café located on vibrant St Nicholas Street, but the green frontage with low curtains hides, what is considered by its many followers, the best Chinese restaurant in the region. The cosiness of the sixteenth-century listed building creates a homely, but lively atmosphere enhanced by the warm welcome of the family owners and staff who are friendly yet discreet.

Trongs is always buzzing with diners who enjoy good quality food at reasonable prices - but be prepared to book well ahead if you want to be sure of a table.
