Named after the owner's favourite beach on the southwest coast of France, Truc Vert is an admirable, easy-going fusion of cafe, deli and restaurant - it brings a splash of 'la vie rustique' to the streets of Mayfair thanks to its chunky farmhouse decor, white-topped wooden tables and an inviting choice of earthy food with strong French and Mediterranean overtones.

The place opens right through the day, from casual breakfast to full-blown suppers.
