No relation to the leather-clad foodie ladies you may have seen on TV, this fascinating little place – a stone's throw from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery – takes its name from the bingo-speak of its address ('two fat ladies' – '88'!!).
The premises may look small, unassuming and rather cramped, with a galley-sized kitchen virtually by the front door and only eight tables, but the mood is thoroughly agreeable.
Piscine décor and artwork dotted around the room point up the culinary intentions of the place.
