Having scored a hit with The Valley in the old station house at Corbridge, Daraz Aziz decided to follow up the railway theme with this second restaurant occupying a converted signal box and carriage (number 397) at Old Jesmond Station.
It's worth making a beeline for some of the kitchen's noted specialities including murgh amchur (chicken with mangoes), mangsho pesta ke shadi (topside of beef cooked with mild spices and pistachios) and salmon bahja (fried with fresh herbs, garlic, ginger and raw onions).
