Rock stars, Scottish rugby heroes and movie icons have all had their photos taken at this long running Indian restaurant within walking distance of Haymarket BR station. From the outset, the owners eschewed flock wallpaper clichés in favour of tropical timber blinds, wicker chairs and wall hangings. The mood is reassuringly intimate and low-key despite Verandah's celeb status.
