TV chef Paul Merrett (ex-Greenhouse and The Farm) has teamed up with restaurateur Greg Bellamy to take over Sheen's 100-year-old Victoria pub/dining room/hotel in a leafy residential area not far from Richmond Park. The Victoria is exceedingly family-friendly, with smiling staff, crowd-pleasing Sunday roasts and a kids' play area in the garden (barbecues in summer).

Most of the foodie action takes place in the timber-framed conservatory with its dark wood floors, leather seating and reclaimed furniture.
