The Village Pub Review

Situated directly opposite Barnsley House and run by the same team, the self-titled Village Pub certainly lives up to its name in this affluent Cotswold village not far from Cirencester. Flagstone floors, rough-hewn stone fireplaces, bookcases and botanical prints set the tone in the civilised bar, and there's a well-designed brick courtyard for al fresco meals.

The interior divides up into a maze of little rooms and one menu is served throughout the pub.
