The Vine House Review
Julie and Marcus Springett have been presiding over this delightfully preserved stone house since 1991 and have retained its character as a very personable country restaurant-with-rooms. Inside it still feels reassuringly homely with framed prints, china collectibles and rustic fabrics; there's also a pretty cottage garden at the back.
Menus change with the market and the seasons, and choice is sensibly restricted to just three options for each course.
