Named in honour of owner Sir Peter Michael's elite Californian winery, the Vineyard at Stockcross is a suitably lavish expression of the hospitality industry in top gear. The setting is a splendidly dramatic, Californian-style villa with ostentatious opulence in large measure. The split-level Art Deco restaurant is at the centre of things, with its elegant floral displays and subtle lighting that changes colour throughout the course of the evening.
