Younger sister to the original in Oakham, this branch of Voujon opened early in 2007 and brings a touch of upmarket Indian cuisine to Stamford. The decor fuses east and west, contemporary and traditional, with comfortable leather chairs, clever lighting and modern artwork. Diners also have a choice of eating in the main restaurant, the beautiful conservatory or alfresco.
The lengthy menu trawls its way through all the curry house staples, with tandooris, baltis and tawa specialities added to the mix of dhansaks, biryanis and the like.
