For more than three decades the Walnut Tree was one of the UK's most iconic restaurants and a pioneer in the field of casual dining. Following the retirement of its heroic owners Franco and Ann Taruschio in 2000 it went through a tricky patch, closed briefly and has now re-opened with superstar Shaun Hill overseeing the kitchen.
