Famous as the only waterside hotel high in the Cotswolds, Washbourne Court stands impressively in four acres of delightful grounds by the banks of the River Eye. The house was originally three farm cottages; later it became a 'cramming school' for Eton hopefuls, before graduating to hotel status in 1992.

Following a lavish refurbishment, Washbourne Court now looks even better, thanks to an inspired mix of exciting contemporary design and historic features including beamed ceilings, stone mullioned windows and a truly magnificent fireplace in the bar.
