Spectacular views of the Nottingham skyline are a big plus at this bright, airy Rooftop Restaurant on the fifth floor of the purpose-built Welbeck Hotel. The best panoramic vistas are from the balcony area, but the horticulturally inclined dining room has its own attractions; exposed brick walls, tiled floors and patio-style furniture all help to create a warm Mediterranean feel.

The kitchen provides plenty of options (including pre-theatre deals, 4–6pm each day) and the menus cover a lot of territory.
