Weng Wah House, located in upmarket and fashionable Belsize Park, is a well-lit, spacious and vibrant venue complete with two illuminated fish tanks and examples of limited-edition Chinese art on the walls.
The dim sum selection contains some intriguing items, including vegetable dumplings in carrot juice pastry (there's also a scallop version coloured green with spinach), chicken dumplings with medlar, turnip paste with wind-dried meat, and crispy prawn rolls with mango.
There's also plenty of choice and variety on the full menu, which covers most aspects of classic Chinese cuisine from aromatic crispy duck and barbecued pork to steamed Dover sole and sea bass.
