The West Bay Review

Originally known as the Neptune, this eighteenth-century stone-built inn is a favourite refuelling point on the old Abbotsbury to Weymouth road. It's also perfectly positioned, next to the dramatic East Cliff and within easy reach of the harbour and the Jurassic Coast. Richard and Lorraine Barnard have turned the pub into a must-visit destination in this part of Dorset, and it now has a fine reputation for food, drink and overnight accommodation.

Inside, there's a spacious wood-floored bar area and a pleasantly informal restaurant with 'country kitchen' furniture.
