Fine views of the Thames are just one of the pleasures on offer at the Wharf restaurant, a stylishly converted boathouse overlooking Teddington Lock. A covered terrace adds variety to proceedings, while wooden floors and high ceilings create a spacious backdrop to the chic bar area.
Thanks to chef/proprietor Ray Neve's experienced hand on the tiller, the cooking has changed course of late, with a more eclectic slant, lots of Asian influences and a dedicated approach to carefully sourced ingredients: beef and game now come from Manydown Farm in Hampshire, for example.
Start with spicy Thai beef salad with pink ginger or grilled prawn skewers with sweet chilli and couscous.
