Wife of Bath Review

The Wife of Bath at Wye near Ashford has been one of Kent's top restaurants for many years. Relatively new owners Andrew and Nicola Fraser work with an accomplished team including Chef Robert Hymers. With beams and flagstones aplenty, the Wife of Bath is a friendly restaurant with a strong local following.

Robert Hymers shows his flair with such dishes as Seared 'Rye' scallops nestled on a cauliflower and rosemary purée served with bacon and beurre blanc and Breast of Kent duckling with home-made pommery tagliatelle, sautéed pak-choi and tomato chutney.
