Windyhill Restaurant Review
The inspiration for Matthew Scobey and Careen McLean's unfussy neighbourhood restaurant comes from Charles Renee Mackintosh's iconic 'House Windyhill' in the village of Kilmacolm. You can't miss the place with its striking black shop front and frosted glass windows, while the subdued interior is dotted with contemporary art.
Casual dining is the order of the day, with a light lunch menu offering the likes of beef and haggis burgers, 'posh fish and chips with minted pea purée and 'late breakfast' triple club sandwiches.
