Wolfscastle Country Hotel Review

A sturdy stone-built house dating from the mid-1800s, Wolfscastle was once a vicarage but has been privately run as a country hotel for more than two decades. It's still known affectionately as 'Allt yr Afron' ('hill by the river') and makes the most of its tranquil country setting.

Guests can eat in the bar or the dining room from an evening menu that offers old-school dishes based around Welsh ingredients.
