Woods Brasserie is part of the splendid rejuvenation of Cardiff Bay, not far from the Wales Millennium Centre, this long-serving brasserie occupies the old Pilotage Building right by the water's edge. Outside it's a highly rated al fresco spot with enviable views; inside it puts on a rather opulent and appealing contemporary face with its blond woodwork, bright lights and shining metalwork.
