Y Polyn is a delightful out-of-the-way whitewashed pub a few miles east of Carmarthen, owned by husband and wife team Mark and Sue Manson. Mark knows a thing or two about restaurants, he used to be an AA inspector and his wife an accomplished chef heads the kitchen.

Almost everything they serve is made on the premises and local ingredients are sourced with great care for their mix of earthy peasant-style dishes.
