Nepal comes to Bath in the shape of this evocative stonewalled basement. Inside it's a colourful mix of artefacts, prints and rugs that provide a perfect backdrop to the food. The menu is short, but it covers most bases from grilled marinated strips of lamb and bhutuwa chicken with ginger, tomato and coriander to kukharako thukpa (a main-course noodle soup that is every Sherpa's staff of life).
Vegetables, pulses and fresh herbs are key ingredients, and the menu offers plenty for those who don't eat meat.
