The name translates as 'Welcome Honoured Guest' and this Chinese restaurant has been doing just that since Yuh Ho Yau founded the place in 1968. His daughter and her husband are now in charge, and the kitchen is one of the few in the city to specialise in the cuisine of Northern China.
Facing Chinatown's ostentatious entrance arch, this lofty terrace offers a taste of old-style Shandong cooking with poetic, enticingly named dishes like tomato and egg- flowers soup, sweet-and-sour cherry chicken and so on.
